Jag 12th October 2021

Jon, I've thought a lot about how I remember you over the last couple of weeks. You were such a massive part of my formative years, I always felt your house was my home from home, and the only place I could be myself while I was growing up. I was in awe of your gadgets, and how good you were at whatever it was you set your mind to doing. Whether it was fixing cars, fishing, motorbikes, koi or pigeons, you were knowledgeable and always willing to put up with the never ending questions of a curious nephew. Rescuing me out of a bush after I drank too much at a 16th birthday party, taking me fishing every Sunday at the crack of dawn, you did so many things for me, and I'll always be grateful. I'm so sorry you felt you had to leave, and that I hadn't seen you in such a long time, but I'll always remember those years as some of the best of my life, thank you Jon x
